Martian Records

Martian Records in a little deceiving from the outside - it does look a little bit dank and Hedgemonkey-ish. But, never judge a book by it's cover unless it's a book. The shop really does have everything you'll want musically. Although one gets the impression that Metal/Rock is the shop's speciality, there is every range and style of music at really good prices - I picked up an obscure CD i've wanted for a year for next to nothing. Loads of cheap good condtion used DVDs, tons of posters, gig info, stickers, patches...but lack of girls sized t-shirts. bummer. the staff are really sound and know what they are talking about, which is always good! anything else? erm...Limited editions!! excellent, i'd chose Martian over any mainstream ents shop anyday!x <P></P> <P>

This store offers reasonable prices and a good range of CD's, DVD's, VHS and quite a few music related t-shirts/posters. I've rarely had a problem finding what I want and the staff are generally quite friendly and approachable. The layout isnt particularly great, and sometimes it's hard to find what you want due to slight unorganisation, however staff are always on-hand to help out. Martian Records stocks a large range of rock/alternative music, but more mainstream stuff can also be found. Definately one of the best places to buy music in Taunton. <P></P> <P>
