• STAGS ARE A1 FOR ME

  I have rented my property out to STAGs in Taunton successfully since 2007 and only had 1 month where the property was not rented - they are A-1 in their service and was suprised to read ANY bad reviews from them - I know there was a Robert STAGG seperate company in the Letting industry in Taunton - who has nothing to do with this reputed company - hence his appearances in Court HMP etc. Their network of offices is particularly suitable to the property I let and they have always ensured I have had the right sort of tennants in. I am now looking at bringing 2 other properties onto their books in the South West.

• Unhelpful, officious and more . . .

  I rented from Stags in Taunton and found them to be very unhelpful once the contract was signed. They also are trying to keep a hefty deposit for a property that is very clean (certainly fewer cobwebs than when we moved in!) and undamaged. It will go to arbitration and we have lots of photos. If you use them, take all precautions possible and go over that initial inventory in intense detail. They will throw anything you overlook back at you . . . anything to get more cash, including calling you in the first months as though the delay of a bank transfer (3 days) is unusual and there is a problem for them to huff and puff about. Very amateur. Unethical too. Glad to be rid of them . . .
