Much Improved Food

This is my local pub, but after visiting a couple of times in 2007, I was less than impressed with the food. However, I noticed some changes recently, so decided to try it again. I'm pleased to report that the food was really good! We went on a Sunday evening, so it wasn't busy. The staff were helpful and polite and the menu looked good. I choose steak and it was very nice. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the cost wasn't too high either. I'll be retruning to eat there again soon

AVOID!!

At a carvery - Monday evening. Absolutely disgusting food! Not the most expensive pub in town by any means, but might well have the worst food! It is my belief that a large proportion of the food was recooked from Sunday's carvery. If not, the chef should be sacked!!Staff ok & furnishings comfortable. Lighting utilitarian and therefore a pleasant ambience is absent.Avoid weekday carvery!!
