Exercise throughout pregnancy can lead to a shorter, less complicated labour and improve your post-natal recovery. But where can you go for advice? Most GP's and midwives know little about exercise. Most gyms and fitness instructors are not qualified in this area. A personal trainer qualified in ante/post natal exercise, such as myself, can offer advice and guidance on a safe and structured exercise programme.
 
NB. If you are not currently exercising, it is advisable not to start during pregnancy.
